I absolutely love these warm-ups. I utilize these every single day and I have witnessed the most awesome improvement in the reading skills of my students. I have used these for several years now. I have seen a jump of two years in the reading skills and the comprehension. Awesome tools!

Really great test prep practice to quiet students entering the classroom. I use this as my bell ringer...some teachers may call it "do now".... filled with awesome skills.

This is an easy, quick resource to supplement skills and units you already have in place! I teach 8th ELA special education, and these are create for small, quick assessments to test how they are doing with pulling information from text. I wish this had an e-copy for use on a projector, so that we could make marks as a whole group on a larger scale rather than solely pencil & paper.

Found it helpful in my continuation high school English classes where the students are way below grade level in performance tasks. The vocabulary and comprehension components help the students focus the meaningful aspects of a well-rounded but often missing world-view.mf
