I am introducing my preschooler to anatomy. She isn't quite old enough to read the material and cut out all the pieces alone. However, it has been a fun hands on activity for us to do together. She gets excited when her daddy comes home from work, to show him the new body part that she has added to the drawing of her body. She is practicing coloring skills, cutting skills (scissors are new to her) and learning appropriate amounts of glue to add, and picking up little bits of information along the way. It's great that the organs are large enough for her to get a realistic idea of what her body parts look like. I'm learning too...like I never knew exactly where my Spleen was located. I will use this again and again each year through elementary ages as we study anatomy.
I really wish there was something similar for introducing chemistry. I would appreciate suggestions.

I loved the way that the product was broken down for the parts of the body with pictures etc. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of assessment over the the part of the body. I felt like it was age appropriate even though it was difficult for some of mine to read. The students loved the pictures and enjoyed coloring them.

I use this book for my middle school self contained students. They enjoy getting their body traced on paper and then adding the different body parts as we go. The information provided is just enough for them to understand. I supplement the book with ability-appropriate videos.
