Handy for Relief Teachers

As a relief teacher, it's great to have a quick activity to grab and buy you a few minutes to get organised at the start of the day. Children will tend to latch on to you if you're new and it can be hard to prep your morning or read teacher notes. I have used a couple of the tasks already as a morning challenge before roll call.

I use daily warm ups not only as a quick review of areas covered; but also to focus on areas that are problematic. If one of my students is having trouble with something, I am able to highlight it and then spend more time explaining/teaching it. I use it as a guideline as to what is expected at each grade level. It's a good product, especially for me. I don't teach in a classroom and I don't have to follow a curriculum.
