Objective

Students will create a pencil holder for Father's Day.

Directions

1. Reproduce pattern pieces on white construction paper. Color and cut out all of the pieces.
2. Glue the "dad" rectangle on the soup can.
3. Glue the arms to the sides of the can. Fold them slightly forward for a better 3-D effect.
4. Glue legs to the bottom of the can. Legs can be bent to "sit" on edge of the table of left flat.
